Inez was born in Rathbun, IA and graduated from high school in Seymour, IA. She attended business college at A.E.C. in Davenport, IA in 1942 and 1943. She joined the Navy in 1942 and was honorably discharged in 1946.
INEZ VOYCE
Inez was born in Rathbun, IA Aug. 16, 1924, and she passed away July 26, 2022 in Santa Monica, CA, at age 97. Inez graduated from high school in Seymour, IA. She attended business college at A.E.C. in Davenport, IA in 1942 and 1943. She joined the Navy in 1942 and was honorably discharged in 1946.
Inez primarily played first base in the AAGPBL from 1946 through 1953. She played with the South Bend Blue Sox in ’46, and she played the rest of her career with the Grand Rapids Chicks.
